Hi,

Always something new.

Didn't have this before, but I guess something might have changed ?

If I (now) take a Screenshot, using Shift-CMD-4 where I select just a portion of the screen with the left mouse button, then release the button, I end up with what I want just fine, but the resultant screenshot
also has the menu bars on the top.

The View, Zoom, Share, Selection, etc.

Also true if I do a Shift-CMD-3 for the whole frame that I want.

I certainly don't want these bars in the photos I save.

What might have changed, or how do I revert back so it's only what I select via the -4, or just
the photo part of the whole screen ?

Thanks,
Bob

Are you talking about the menu bar of the preview app itself? Those won’t appear in the saved image unless you included them in your capture area
