Screenshots on MacBooks - how do I paste into MacRumour Thread?

Hi All,

Newbie question!


I can do the screenshot ok. (Shift CMD 4) - Online help works ok up to hear.

However, cannot work out how to paste, for example into a message on Mac rumours. (E.g. trying to show the click options I have available etc.). I've sent it to be added to photos.... but am still waiting for it to upload for some reason. (Been what 10/15minutes?!). Still says its uploading.

Hope you can advise.

I think that using command shift 5, gives you a box that brings up a lot of cut options, including save to clipboard and save to desktop.

This might be useful for the OP, but I have the Screenshot icon on my dock as I find it useful, although I think perhaps most people on here are more familiar with the keyboard shortcuts.

I often take screenshots and snip bits that I see online. I find this very useful and it'll bring up the following choices:

Command/Shift/Control/4 to take the screen shot and automatically copy it to the clipboard, and then Command+V to paste the copied image into the reply box you use on this forum. It will automatically upload the image.
