Hello - I've just disassembled my late-2013 iMac 27" 14,2 to fit a 1TB NVMe SSD with a short stubby adapter (so that the Mac-style slots line up). The only trouble is, the length of the combination of the NVMe SSD plugged into the little adapter is longer than it should be, so now the screw hole at the other end is just covered by the SSD - how to I secure it? Any ideas guys?

.. I've just ordered a full-length NVMe SSD adapter, so I'm going to have to re-assemble the iMac so it that can be used for the next couple of days until the adapter arrives...

.. and the answer is.. wait for it.. after pulling the iMac apart 3 times... IS PUSH THE NVMe DRIVE ADAPTER INTO THE MOTHERBOARD SOCKET PROPERLY.. and then it works, appears in Disk Utility etc. etc. sigh...

Hi ABCD, Please tell me exactly what adapter and disk you bought since i am looking at doing the same thing on the same computer model with fusion drive as you :)
