Screwed Up My Music Library

I recently moved my iTunes (Music) library to a new location. When I opened music, it updated the library. Now my library has duplicated every song -- but one copy (I assume from the original library) is "missing". The missing songs all have an "i" circle next to them, but I con't seem to sort by this and delete. In trying to resolve this, I deleted my iTunes.itl file. this might have been a bad mistake -- but I still have a library full of duplicates.

How do I de-dupe my library? I thought about deleting all of the songs, but keeping the files and then re-importing. But I don't want to lose everything.

I'm using a new 2020 mini (Intel) and just upgraded to Big Sur.

With Dupin you can quickly and easily identify duplicate tracks according to criteria you select. Then use Dupin's flexible filtering controls to automatically determine which tracks to keep or delete.

Isn’t there a file to delete the “library” and then reimport the data?
