Hi guys,

I often switch between iOS devices and Android devices and I can often hear my friends telling that iOS user interface is better and much responsive than Android.

I have a problem with iOS : when the user interface is refreshed, you have to wait like half a second that all the interface is refreshed before you can actually scroll. For example if you are in a settings section, tap Back, you have to wait before scrolling. If you hit Back, scroll immediately, the interface is unresponsive until you remove your finger from the screen and scroll again.

You can try this, the problem is everywhere even in the springboard : go to a folder, tap in the background to return to main screen and try to scroll immediately : it does not scroll.

The problem does not exist in Android : use one of the latest devices (like HTC One, SGS 4, etc).

I've made a little video which shows the problem versus Android :

I've found that other users have notice the problem :

On my iPad2 it's only like a one swipe delay, and that's only if I swipe basically the same exact moment of going into whatever screen. I don't see this as a problem and wouldn't have known about it if I wasn't told.
