SD card reader + USB3 hub

Hi guys,

I'm using a late 2013 27 iMac, and I need to read cards fast. I also need a couple more USB3's.

Will I gain speed with an external SD card reader? Is there one that connects to thunderbolt?

Ideally I would buy a hub with 3 USB3 + SD card reader...

USB3 card reader is what you want (if they have them).
But even a faster card reader may be limited by the card itself.
