Hello everyone,

I'm not having any luck over at the Apple website with this, and I'm pretty sure you guys are smarter anyways =p

I'm looking for a way to go through and delete the SD copies of all my HD TV shows from iTunes. I don't get why anyone would want to watch something they paid a premium to see in HD on their iPod =(

I have a fairly large HD video collection so preferably this method should be slightly painless.

Thanks so much in advance.

You get two copies because only the SD version can be played on your iPod. You may want to NOT delete the SD copies or else you won't be able to view them on your iPod.

I understand why/how things work. Fact is, I have limited space on my hard-disk and I can't afford a RAID 1 external to keep my massive library on, so the easiest choice is to cannibalize the SD copies.

I suggesting backing up the files, then just go into the iTunes folder and delete the SD version, that's about it.

Yeah I've been thinking about doing that....it's just going to take a LONG time. I'm hoping that maybe there will be an option at some point to just not receive the SD copy.

Kind of sucks that there's nothing built in for this at the moment.
