SDD containing less space after upgrade, help?! (Boot Camp related)

So, I had a big problem installing El Capitan with a Boot Camp Windows partition, so I deleted this Windows partition before trying to upgrade again. This extra space from the partition was left as "free space". Now a few hours later, after upgrading, the Windows partition is still there when I press the "alt"-button at start up, but it just shows that the Windows install is broken when I try to start it up, of course. (It should've been completely gone, though)

However, when I go to the disk utility program in OS X, it only shows one partition, Macintosh HD at 190 GB. The SDD I have is sized at 256 GB, but the remaining 60+ GB are nowhere to be found!! How can I get back the remaining GB into the Macintosh HD partition again?
Is there any way, or do I have to make a completely clean install and then use Time Machine? If so, how do I do this? I can't lose any of the stuff that's on my hard disk now, but I guess Time Machine is the solution here? Please, if anyone knows what to do, help me. Kinda depressed here, after losing 60+ GB..

And I must say, the new disk utility app is terrible.

I think you should have removed the partition through bootcamp, try seeing if it still shows up in bootcamp and removing it.

You're probably right. It doesn't show up in Boot Camp now though. I guess clean install is the only solution, with my backup from Time Machine. Can someone confirm this will work. I guess Time Machine only saves the Macintosh HD partition, right? So afterwards I'll be able to move the "free space" over to that partition? Yes?
