Does anyone know if Apple has fixed the tristar chip issue with the release of the SE 2022 (which I recently purchased)? My wife's SE 2020 was recently diagnosed with a tristar chip failure, which we've since learned can be damaged from using chargers and cables that are not MFi certified. We're replacing all our cables, etc. for MFi certified, but I'd like to know how careful I need to be with my SE 2022.

I have heard about issues with non-MFi certified lightning cables for many years. That’s why I have never cheaped out with cables.

I have stuck with Apple OEM ones however recently moved to Belkin braided cables due to their higher quality.
