My girlfriend recently purchased a second-generation iPhone SE and is wondering how to quickly access the camera from her lock screen. She doesn’t have the on-screen button like my 11 Pro does, and she’s showing me that swiping from right to left doesn’t do anything the way it did on her 7. Is this feature gone in the same bucket as haptic touching notifications from the lock screen? Thanks in advance.

Swipe left from the lock screen to access the camera.

Try turning off screen time and then trying again.

What software was the old backup on? I’m wondering if a setting or something is stopping it from working properly.

When you’re on the lock screen you should see down the bottom two dots and then a very small camera icon, is that the case?

Ahh yup, I watched her try the swiping motion yesterday to no avail. But today it's working. Must've been a temporary bug! Thanks.
