Hello All

Been reading threads and just want this confirmed... I currently have an 8+ and love 3D touch pop up for notifications, specifically when i get a text message to quickly read / reply to it on the lock screen by 3D touching it.

I have read that they've basically disabled the haptic pop upon the SE2 (i am aware 3d touch is gone), is this true? So i can no longer long press a text to respond?

thanks!

Not yet. Someone said that is a feature, someone that is a bug, but probably after many reports Apple will add it to next update...

I called Apple about this exact thing as I thought I had a defective phone. The rep did not know enough about the features on the new phone, so he escalated it to a Senior Tech agent. They called 2 days later to tell me that is is not a feature on the new Iphone SE.

So you're saying that they are acknowledging it's a "bug"? That would be good.

You can drag it to the left and then click View for quick reply from the lockscreen or notification pane. For banner notifications, you can long press for quick reply.
