Seams on the AirPods 2

I read in a few places that it is pretty common to have a seam that you can feel with your finger on your AirPods. On my pair, the left AirPod has the more noticeable seam. Is this normal for the product as I think it is?

It’s not abnormal. It’s likely just manufactured slightly different from the other AirPod the way it was assembled. As long as the AirPod functions normally and it doesn’t look like there’s any gaps where moisture/water could enter, then you have nothing to worry about.

My left one has a more noticeable seam than the right.
