Hey guys, my first post here, I am getting an iPhone soon, will be jailbreaking it, but I was wondering, I already have about 120 free apps from the AppStore, is there an App (regardless if it needs jailbreak or not) that will sit in the bottom of the home menu with iPod etc or atleast in the first pane. The app should open up a search for all of your apps (including the keywords from the app store, if they are downloaded with the app). You type the name or keyword of the app in, it will display a list of relevant apps, when you tap one, it will kill the appsearch app and run the chosen app! Is this possible? My first post here so help a newbie out!

Thanks in advanced. -

Yes, from firmware 3.0, Apple have given us a "spotlight" facility which allows us to swipe to the right (from the first screen), and allows you to type the name etc into the search field and a list of results appear ..... to open the app you simply click on the app.

Hope that helps

Perfect! Thanks, I'll see if I can add rep. ;)

EDIT: Can't find rep button, sorry.

Just a quick question, will this include keywords and mp3 ID3 tags?

E-mail
Calendar Entries
iPod (Artist, song, album search)

Hope that helps :D
