Search for app not working in spotlight

when I go to spotlight and search for an app I have , every information comes up in the search but the actual app, I have all the apps turned on in settings/general/spotlight search

For example I want to search for the eBay app to open, in the results I get eBay mentions in my email, a suggestion for the website , looking for the app in the AppStore , but not the actual app to open

Is there a setting I'm missing here

Same has been happening to me. Sounds like a software issue that will hopefully be resolved in the next update.

i went back to ios 8, this is a ios 9 problem only

I had this issue. Reset and restore from backup fixed it.
