Has anyone managed to find a way to make third party email programs search for emails as well as the default app ?. After trying more or less all of them (Outlook, Spark, Airmail etc etc), they all do very poorly when searching for old emails. They seem to perform ok with emails less than a month old, but searching for things older than that often leaves a reply of no results, whereas a quick search on the default app finds them immediately using the same search strings. The same issue applies to the iOS versions of the same.
I prefer to use the third party apps for a myriad of reasons (snooze, pin etc), but I am needing to keep using mail app in order to actually completely a lot of searches.
