Hi,
i encountered a new behavior for my finder since at least public beta 2 of El capitan.

Before the update, when i was saving a file from safari (or mail, or whatever) and wanted to search for the correct folder i wanted to save the file info, i just put the name of the folder in the search field, and the system returned to me a list of folders the might be the one i was looking for. i could choose easily the correct one and save the file in it.

But right now when i input anything in the search folder, it returns a list of various files/folder , but mostly files. which makes it very hard to find the folder i searched for in a long list of irrelevant stuff (in this case, the results of the search should be only folders)

is it the same for others? is there a way of reverting to the old behavior?

thanks :)

Seems to be very buggy at the moment. I tried finding some workarounds for you, but Safari crashed a couple of times in the process. Normally you should at least be able to enter "chat kind:folder” to get a list of folders with the name ‘chat’, but the filters don’t seem to work at all. I suggest you also file a bug report.

Just a quick word to say it's been solved in the last public beta :)

I just noticed as well. But the crash still happens when you add two search tags.
