If you put an emoji at the beginning of the title of a note - you can do a search by that emoji. For example in my IT folder I put a computer emoji in front of all the Notes I make about Catalina. I put a green apple emoji in front of notes on Pages hints; etc.
Then I can do a search (regardless of which folder they are kept in) by searching the emoji.
This works great on IOS13 or IOS ipad. Very handy.
But it doesn't seem to work on the Mac ( running Catalina). I have fiddled around to get it to work but no joy.
Does anyone else use this feature and have you been able to get it to work on the mac ? I cant see why this feature would be available on IOS but not OS.
Any ideas ?
