Didn’t want to clutter the “main” beta thread with this, but am having issues using the search tool in the Files app when I’m trying to find OneDrive files. I can search my own iCloud files just fine (even files nested several layers deep in the hierarchy). However, I simply cannot find anything using search when the folders are from my work OneDrive.

I can search for these files successfully using the OneDrive app itself, but not from within Files.

Is anyone else able to do this? Or is it a bug I am experiencing?

Also, there are what look like “search tokens” at the top of my OneDrive folder in Files. One is for “Recents” and the others are for my personal and shared folders. What do those do?

This should not be so hard!

Thanks!

Not just isolated to OneDrive. Can't search for files from Dropbox either. I deleted my work OneDrive from my iPhone because it was constantly running in the background, even when forced-closed.

Edit: This is on b7.

FYI: OneDrive on iOS uses a 'significant location change' as a way to kick off photo upload (if photo backup is turned on). This is for consumer account, of course, but it is the same app. This is why OneDrive location use should be set to 'Always' and why OneDrive might be seen to be running even if you never did open it for days.
