iPhone Searching w phone numbers in messages

I’ve noticed in previous iOS versions I could search using a portion of a phone number such as the area code. With the revised iOS 13 search it seems you only get results if that number is included in a message’s content but not the contact/messenger’s number.

confirming if this is isolated or not.

Hm I’m on 13.1 beta. So if you search for an area code it’ll show up in the list of messages?

Just switched back to 13.1, in iMessage searching just for an area code doesn't give me anything much either. Not sure if different on 13 GM, never tried it before.

Sorry, I forgot the title of the post. It doesn't show up in the list of messages; so it's not just you.
