Searching with iOS9...

So now we have 2 ways of searching on the iPhone... Pulling down and scrolling far left...

What is the difference? Why was it needed for 2 different screens?

Any difference?

To the left is the new Proactive stuff. Contacts, Apps, Nearby (depending which country you're in) and News. It also has Spotlight though.

Pull down is just Spotlight and suggested (proactive) apps. The pull down can be access from and home page but has less, proactive search can only be accessed from page one but has more.
