Is there a way to search within the Library? For example, if I search for “Application Support” “Kind is Folder”, even from within the Library, I get no results. Not the HD Library or the user Library.

Or more to the point, search won’t find a Logitech folder within Application Support that I would have deleted long ago.

I see a lot of old threads about this, but the only solution I saw was using third-party search apps. Is there still no way to do this, other than that?

System files aren’t normally included in the searches, but you can enable various search attributes by selecting "Other…" and add them to the menu.

What search attributes would need to be selected to search the Library? Based on what I've read in other threads, there is nothing in that list that would make it possible.

Select the "System files" attribute, then use it in your search criteria to include them. Note that there are a lot of "Application Support" folders.

They must have added that attribute since the thread I was reading. Thanks!

I wish I would have known about this before. Very helpful when uninstalling stuff.
