Okay, I saw some thread about this but I can't seem to find it. So basicly what I want to do is:

Save my jailbreak setup if I need to restore

Save (ISPW or what is it called?) iOS 6.1 so that I can restore and all even if Apple doesn't sign 6.1

So could anyone tell me how I can do this? Whould be really happy with some great replies and if I forgot something important that I need to do or something that can be important to do, then point it out, please.

Greetings! :)

Edit: iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1

There is no need to save the IPSW as these are always available for re-download from multiple sites (I prefer iPhoneWiki)

You should be saving your SHSH files via TinyUmbrella.
But you need to know that currently only certain iDevices (A4 and older) can use these saved SHSH files for restore to iOS6 firmware versions Apple no longer signs.
We save them in the hope a method to restore will be figured out for iOS6 for A5+ and A6 devices.

Only thing you can do is save your 6.1 shsh blobs and make sure you got to 6.1 using itunes and not an OTA update.
If you got to 6.1 using OTA via the phone itself to update then plug it to itunes and hit restore.
There's still no tool or option to use those 6.1 shsh blobs we are saving but hopefully in the near future there will be a way even after apple stops signing 6.1

Okay. Because if I have some problems now then I'm better do a full restore now while I can, I guess?
Thanks for the reply I will look into SHSH. I've seen that you're very active at this forum, that's great I believe. :)

Okay, so what SHSH blobs do is like a backup of your whole iPhone with tweaks, software version and all? I've never really looked in to such things previous times I have jailbroken my iDevices. Thanks for all fast and nice replies!

Does this got anything to do with SSH? I've had OpenSSH since I did jailbreak my iPhone 5 and I didn't change the password until now. Is there any chance that my phone is hacked if I didn't change it so earlie?
Sorry for being noob here!

An SHSH in lamens terms is an authorisation code (similar to a license key if you like) which lets iTunes know that yes- I am allowed to install this OS version onto this device.

SHSH blobs are unique to each device and each firmware version (you can't use a 6.0 blob to install 5.1.1 or 6.1 for example.)
