Hi everyone,

Several weeks ago, one of the security updates for 10.11 broke nVidia's drivers. I see that 2016-002 is now available for my 10.11.6 machine, but I haven't seen any mention about whether it's safe to install.

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks :)

How do you proceed to do the update?
Especially for those who doesn't have a second video card

I've activated the screensharing so I'm guessing if I install the security update the Mac will reboot on the default apple driver. I'll be only able to install the new Nvidia web driver by doing a sharing screen.

I'll try tonight. but if you have any advice feel free to add here:)

Thanks!

I wait about a week or so before installing those the Nvidia driver is usefully updated by then.

Perhaps first thing to do would be if you have another mac with an official Nvidia would be to try with.
Saying that I did install the security update + the new Nvidia web driver on my notebook cMBP and everything went well.

Thanks.
