Hi forum, my first post
I just had an issue after installing Security Update 2018-004 (Sierra) on Sierra 10.12.6.
I have been using Office 2011 and Quickeys 4 as some old apps that used to work fine until this Security Update 2018-004. After, Office would crash while loading and Quickeys didn't launch at all. After some unsuccessful troublehooting I restored the system from an earlier backup (Sierra 10.12.6 with Security Update 2018-003). I had to do some tedious restore fixes because copying the new user folder onto the old resulted in those 2 apps not working again. I had to leave out a lot of folder from user/library..
I just wondered if other users have stumbled across this and wanted to give a heads up on this issue.

Cheers!

Exactly which version of Office 2011 are you using? Are both Office and Quickeys as updated as possible?

I have Office version 14.6.9, last to my knowledge, I don't want to shell out money to MS at the moment.
Quickeys is 4.0.7 and also the last, development of this program unfortunately has stopped.

Thanks, good to know for the future.. I'm all set with my roll-back at the moment
That, of course, leaves both Office and macOS exposed to known vulnerabilities, so it's really not a good solution.
