anyway to see total file size of selected files ? I select a bunch of video and music files , right click and get info and a bunch individual windows pop up with info on each one. It's good but is there anyway to just to see the total file size of all the selected files .

To do this ...

Keep the Option button (or Alt button) on the keyboard pressed when you right click after the selection and you should get a "Get Summary Info" option in the popup ...

Click that and you will get a single pane with combined info of all files selected ... :)

After selecting files, holding down option key after right-clicking turns "Get Info" cotextual menu item into "Show Inspector". That'll supply the total size of the selected files.

Select the files you want then hit command-option-i (all three at once).
