Is there any way to find the price of an App Store app after purchase? I don’t want to recommend apps when I can’t tell them the price. TIA

If you choose the “share link” option and then open that link in a browser I beleive the preview shows the price doesn’t it?

Nope, it just drops me back to the App Store with “Open” the only option. I don’t see any way to do it.

This shouldn’t be this difficult.

I’m doing this on an iPad, BTW. I’ll have to try it on a Mac when I can.

Can you not sign out of your store id, at which point it doesn't know who you are and what you've already bought and therefore it will show you the price?

The link method will work, but, can't click the link from your iDevice, because as you see, will keep dropping YOU into YOUR iTunes App Store. Anyone else you share the link with that has not purchased said app will get the "full" screen with price.

Eg. From my Mac, and from my iPhone, same link:

EDIT: you can put the links into a draft email, then go to a PC/Mac (if you have one) and click the links in the draft there to see/verify pricing.

ADD: you can use the Share App link and drop it into Google search, which will then give you a screen with the prices in there.

Thanks, But there needs to be a Mac involved. Not optimal. I think this is something Apple’s going to have to tweak.

Thanks but that doesn’t seem to work either. Even signed out I still get no pricing for purchased apps. I think Apple could fix this by simply putting the original price alongside in the box with the “GET” tag.
