I do a test from a live stream from TomorrowLand which is an EDM music festival. Play both stream together. I notice the new iMac no need to increase the volume much whereas the old iMac need to increase slightly abit to get both same " feel " the volume. ( both Youtube live stream the youtube volume is on the max )

I noticed the new iMac sound quality seem slightly better than the old iMac.

I not a tech , spec guys never read much in depth about the speakers on the new iMac.

The new iMac is the current M3 vs the old iMac which I not wrong is 2015 model. Just curious anyone notice the difference like me.

Yeah to me it's louder, fuller. The force-canceling woofers really brings volume. I have the old Late 2013 iMac stuck with Catalina and the difference is amazing.

I not into audiophiles now a days. Last time i used to be crazed about it come Sound. Obviously to be honest and fair you can't get the best sound from mainly just the build in speaker from computer. This is why some users who particular on sound quality get good audiophile great speakers connect to their Mac. Just like those sound producers in Studio , etc they using external speakers connect to their Mac edit, produce music.

Yea there is difference come new iMac and old iMac come the build in speaker , I guess maybe also due to the sound board different. That why the sound volume and quality " slightly got a bit difference vs old iMac.
