I see so many 8 GB iPhones with offers of 650 and reserves not met. I'll give them a golf clap for trying. One guy is relying on making money off iPhones so he can pay for college in California.

Reminds me of when DC comics had superman "die". They actually interviewed people on TV who said they were buying them to pay for their kids college tuition when they grew up.
Yea, ive heard this also. Ut that seems like a lot to risk to try to pay for something else. I think if you arent in the business them why risk that amount when you dont know the outcome. Good luck to him though.
That is insane. I mean these people need to research what they are doing, it isn't like a console. I did sell my ps3 when I first got it and sold it for 2,500.

So you don't really get any benefit from buying off eBay, right? Like you still end up with a two year contract, because you have to get that when you activate the phone? Unlike if you were to buy another GSM phone on eBay, where you could pop your SIM in and use it without obligating yourself? Eh, suckas....
I think my favorite example is the video floating around with the lady who thought she was going to 'buy the store' with 100k 
On one hand, I can't really say bad things about them cause they're just trying to make money. I'm glad they're not making a profit but can't blame 'em for trying.
Like someone else said though, they should have been doing some research before jumping in. I think the window to make profit only lasted for about 2-4 hrs. after the initial release.
Of course, I say this while I'm looking at my precious iphone on my desk If I didn't have one, I'd be cursing them loudly.
And, definite kudos to Apple for having enough stock. I stood in line that day and, even though it turns out I really didn't need to, it was a fun experience and Apple really impressed me with how their employees acted pre-store opening and while in the store.

This is great news. Some of the best stuff I've heard all week (The only thing better being that lady who paid $800 for a spot and got completely served.)
