So my wifi has been spot on ever since I bought my iPad on launch day. Just tonight (within the past hour) I started to notice that every minute or two, my ipads wifi connection would weaken and then drop for a few seconds and then reconnect. I wasn't pleased as I had figured my iPad was spared from all of those annoying wifi issues that others were experiencing.

So I'm thinking to myself....what is different. Then I realize that my MacBook is right next to me downloading some stuff. So I think, hmmmm, maybe the MacBook wifi signal is somehow messing with the ipads wifi signal.

I shut down my macbook and ever since (30 min) ive had nothing but full bars on my iPad. Might have been a stupid remedy, but it worked.

I'm thinking this might be helpful to those with the spotty wifi connection. iPad hates competing for your routers wifi connection.

I'm curious as to what your network configuration is... Airport base station, I'm guessing?

I started getting some iPad wifi issues, so I set my time capsule to always lease the same ip to the iPad and bingo. No more issues.

I set mine on a static ip and also updated the router firmware. More or less fixed it for me, haven't gotten a disconnect all day.
