Segway CTO moving to Apple?

Saw this article on Engadget. Doug Field, the CTO at Segway is apparently leaving to become the new VP of product design at Apple...

I do not own a Segway, though I think they are cool. I do think this will be an interesting turn of events. I mean anytime you get a new brain in a company new things can and will come. It will probably be for the best and I look forward to seeing the new products.

Can't do any harm. Apple need more heads to stop themselves getting overstretched, so I'm sure this will be a good move in the long term.

Those folks over at the Segway forums seem to miss him already.
