Does anyone know why once I check mark my wifi network, it doesn't stay selected after going into lock mode? I have to go into settings and wait until it refinds my network, and then reselect it. It used to just stay connected.

I don't have that problem. It auto selects whenever I come home to go into the office (both have the same SSID and Encryption).

Do you have Ask to Join Networks "On". If so, set it to "Off" and try again.

I don't have that problem either and the "Ask to Join Networks' is "ON." If my phone is connected to EDGE, while I'm on the road, it stays that way until I first unlock it near my WiFi connection at home. It takes a few seconds for it to change, but it is done automatically. After that, as long as my phone is near the router, it stays connected to the WiFi connection even when I lock/unlock.

By the way, are you close to the router? I mean sometimes mine does that, but it's usually because I got out of the routers range and it went to EDGE to get my emails. But if you are close to the router and as soon as you lock/unlock it drops the WiFi connection, you may want to call up tech support and see what's going on.

O.k. I'll turn it off and see how that works, maybe I accidentally turned it on. Thanks.

That's how I thought mine was working too for a while, Mark, ... it might be losing connection, but will not auto find a network until i go into WiFi settings, then must select my network again. weird.

I'm having similar issues. WiFi works great for our computers in the same areas of the house, but the phone can't find it. Must have a pretty weak transmitter or whatever. I find I'm having to go to settings, wifi, turn off then on the wifi, and then it seems to find it.

Basically, WiFi for us is very weak/iffy. I think we need some type of booster in different locations of the house.
