I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen or something but um basically my MBP just randomly boots itself up and when i get home from work/class its turned on and in sleep mode. im positive I turned it off the last time i use it and i come home to it turned on. any ideas? I checked the Schedule and both options are unchecked. I'm on Leopard 10.5.1. plz help me. I don't like my computer turning itself on :-( it scares me. Thanx

Could it be that when you're doing a Shut Down, you're shutting the lid too soon and instead of completing the Shut Down, it's going to Sleep? Next time, make sure it's all the way off from Shut Down before you close it.

Hope this helps -GDF

im pretty sure its all the way off before i close the lid.. i wait a couple of seconds after the scren goes black/turns off and its stops making noises.
