I think my mac knows the new model is due for release........🤨

Just this weekend my (data only) ssd’s connected to sonnet tempo cards keep unmounting, and I am not even accessing them at the time?
Only way to remount is to reboot, as far as I know.
Has anyone encountered this?

Yes, I've encountered the same thing. It happens randomly, but only after an extended period of time on (several days to a week or more).

Have you recently upgraded to Mojave 10,14,6 using either /and the Combo / Supplemental upgrade ?

If so, download the latest full ( 6.05 gb ) 10.14.6 installer ( build 18G103 ) from the App Store - install it to a spare drive and see if your problem goes away.

No I am on HS, I have 10.14.5 on another drive, but not for normal usage.

In Energy Saver settings do you have it set to "Put disks to sleep when possible " ?

If so .. try turning it off, shut down and start up again. A PRAM re-set three times consecutively wouldn't hurt anything either.

I do have disk sleep set, but it has been fine for a couple of years.

Have been monitoring this for 2 weeks, thought it was fine until an eject today.
I think it might be because I have 2 ssd’s on the one card, thinking maybe a recent security update may have done something.
I have 2 tempo’s, 1 with 1 ssd, the other with 2, and it’s always one of the 2 that ejects!

Will move one to a sata bay and see if that helps.

UPDATE: since I moved one ssd back onto a sata caddy, all seems fine with one ssd per tempo card....🤞
Has been fine now for almost 5 weeks, think it must have been last su I installed.....🤪

This just started happening to me me as well, but this is in a 2018 Mac mini with the Tempo Dual SSD 2TB in a Sonnet TB3 expansion chassis. If I'm writing to it, it will randomly eject and I have to reboot to get it back. Just emailed sonnet tech support about it. This is a brand new purchase and 2 x new WD Blue 2TB SSD's.
