Hey guys,

Looking for some thoughts and actually MacRumors approval (hehehe)

I have an Air 2 128GB device that works great. However, I am in sales and wanted to try note taking on the iPad, so decided a few months back to snag the 6th gen iPad and apple pencil to take notes with customers. Absolutely love taking notes and I now use the 6th gen for everything, including browsing, videos, YouTube, etc. I use a large PC laptop as my main device, so it is nice carrying just an iPad around and leaving the Pc at home. I also bought a keyboard case for the iPad to increase productivity.

However, when flying on planes and trying to watch videos, or sitting outside getting work done, the 6th gen display is really noticeable with how much glare affects the screen. It is these times, I wish I had the Air 2. Also storage is a bit low for downloading videos for airplane viewing, but not a deal breaker.

I gave the Air 2 to my wife, but she doesn’t use it. Not sure why, but she prefers to use her iphone7 on the couch and for all media consumption.

So I thought maybe I’ll carry both? One for notes and one for media consumption since the display is much nicer on the Air 2.

But now I am thinking I just sell both, snag the new IPP, Apple Pencil, and keyboard folio. What do you guys think? Will probably still run me $700 to $800 when all said and done?

Sounds like you already have decided hahah.

I’ll personally go for the new iPad Pro. I think the larger and better screen is all worth it. The Apple Pencil experience will also be a lot better than regular iPad - it’s a true difference.

If it’s a carry on iPad, I’lvl go for the 11 inch
