Jailbreaks/IOS Hacks
which would bring in more money. i dropped my 5 this morning and the corner is dented in. no cracks, but the mettle is smashed up. would i make more money selling it in september if i get it replaced but with 7.1, or keep it how it is with 7.0.6 jailbroken?

Personally i wouldn't buy a dented iPhone, although a cover would probably hide it but people worry about these things and what further damage the drop may have caused especially if you're selling online where little truth is said about used items.
A jailbreak is something people could wait for but the dent would still need to be fixed, i think you're better off getting a new replacement while you can, not everyone is looking for a used iPhone 5 has it's jailbroken status as the decisive factor to make the purchase.

Agreed, I would shun away from damaged iPhones, depending on the extent of damage. There's also the possibility you might get a replacement with a jail breakable firmware version installed, though not too likely now, but you never know til you do it. Sent from my iPhone 5.

to answer your question, a phone with no jailbreak worth more than a phone with a jailbreak and a dent.

however, why don't you buy from ebay an OEM body replacment ? they are cheap and this way u will have best of both words

sell dented jailbroken iPhone, or ac replacement nonjailbroken?

The one without cosmetic damage is worth more IMO.
