Phones Sell iphone 5 or keep?

So I made the switch back to android a couple of weeks ago and got the note 2. I love the note and don't think I will be giving it up for a while. My problem is I have an iphone 5 that is just being used as an ipod touch. I have been doing this with my unused iphones for a couple of years. I am now thinking about getting the nexus 4 to have along side the note 2.

My question is would it be worth getting rid of the iphone 5 to pay the nexus 4? I see no point in having the iphone 5 and using it as an touch. Amazon has a trade in program and that is what I was going to do. They will give me $430 for the iphone 5 and I would use the credit to get the nexus 4. The only thing holding me back is the fact that I have all my music in iTunes and connected the iphone. I do have a iPad with music, but I would miss the easy use of the iphone with iTunes. Are there other options on android that work as well? Or has anyone else completely given up iOS and went purely with android?

I would suggest going to craigslist with the iphone (I got $550 for a 16gb locked to att about 10 days ago). Then you could buy the nexus 4 straight from google and still pocket around $150 or even put that money to an ipod touch. Basically get all 3 for very little of your own money.

I don't live near a big city, so there are not too many takers for the iPhone 5. I was looking at Craigslist in my area and there were only like 2 iPhone 5 and they had been posted for awhile. I know I could get more money with Craigslist, but I don't know that my area is big enough to move it fast.

Have you tried using Play Music manager? When I recently switched from my iphone to the nexus I was surprised at how easy it was to sync playlists and music with Google Play. It made that part of the switch much easier to deal with and if I were going to stick it out with android I don't think I would need anything else.

Thanks I was just looking at that. I think that just might work. I knew about the app and how it worked, but I forgot about downloading songs to your device to play offline.

I would assume the hardware, LTE and battery for the note 2, and the updates with the nexus line.

You would be correct sir. I want the updates right from Google and that is what the nexus can offer. I would consider keeping the iphone 5 if it would use a normal sim card not that stupid nano sim. Why does Apple always have to be different? I have try the adaptor before and broke the sim tray of my gnex, so that is not an option.

If it is just an adapter stopping you don't let it. I got this off of amazon and have changed it out at least 12 times with no issues.

I keep all my music on an ad card and often don't have data or wifi. Any time I needed to add music or update my play list, I just use doubletwist. It sun's with iTunes and then syncs my note 2 over wifi.
