Well, I sold my 32gb Wi-Fi Ipad a few weeks ago to pay down a high interest credit card. Sure, it definitely made sense but man ooooh man do I miss it. My wife recently received a laptop from work (HP Elitebook) so I'm trying to hold off on purchasing another Ipad. I do find myself checking Craigslist daily though.

But the whole purpose of this post was to say that I simply no longer enjoy web browsing, watching videos, looking at photos, playing games, etc. on the laptop. It's more cumbersome than I ever thought imaginable. It was just so relaxing opening up the Ipad and reading the USA Today app while having breakfast. Or coming home from work, and checking email or the the weather in a matter of seconds. My kids of course miss the numerous games that I downloaded, deleted, and downloaded again.

I so want to hold off for the second gen, but I don't think I can! These last few weeks have been very difficult. Anyone sell their Ipad too soon and regret it?

I'm actually selling mine soon as I rarely use it and much prefer browsing the web on my MacBook, I just tend to look at more things on my laptop as it's faster. For example, if I was on my iPad then I wouldn't have even bothered to come and look at the iPad forum.
Oddly enough...I'm also selling mine to pay off a credit card, lol.

Perhaps the reason you don't like browsing on your iPad is because of Safari. You should try Atomic Browser... I downloaded it 1-2 months ago and I haven't used Safari since. It's a much better browser in so many ways. It's what Safari should be.

To OP, if you're having to sell your iPad to pay off a high interest CC then, and Im only making a suggestion here, maybe it would be wiser to think about waiting for the next Gen & save up for it.;)

Seems like less stress than having an iPad & being in debt for it...

But to your point, I think I would definitely miss mine. It is amazing to me that my iPad has become my right arm. Hell, even my dog is jealous...

The lesson is that even moderate interest debt repayment is the best investment one can make.

I bet the last part is the real reason u are selling your iPad. The speed of the iPad is no where near slow enough for someone to sell it for that reason.

My cat tries to get between my pad and myself all the time. Hammy just doesn't understand what the big deal is.

I feel your pain. I got it on launch and sold it a bit later for major profit. Well, mainly because of the ram issue honestly. I was getting tired of not being able to hop from page to page without refreshing. But yeah, I really miss it too XD

browsing felt so fluid. And checking emails was more fun than an annoying chore.

I'm able to hop from page to page without reloading on my iPad.....
