If I was to sell AirPods that have AppleCare+ would I need to do anything to transfer the applecare or does it follow the serial number of the AirPods automatically?

IMHO, you must set the price depending on how it is still good. I don't typically do business but yeah, as expensive as you might think but no more than its original price. Maybe sell it at 70% of the original price?
