Selling Broken 2G iPhone. How?

So my wife dropped her 2G 8GB iPhone in some water a year ago.
It works, but the screen backlight doesn't work. So pretty much worthless.
Been hoping it would work again and tried to plug it in today, and no change.
Looking to sell it for parts.
Anyone do this yet?
