I have a blue 8GB iPod nano 4th generation. I'm gonna buy an iPod touch 4th generation when it comes out, and sell this one. There's a minor scratch on the edge, and that's about it. When(October-November?), and what price should this be sold for? $99?

I've seen a ton of iPod Nano 5G's with the video camera on craigslist going for about $60-$85 in decent condition and accessories, it really just depends on what accessories are included with the nano and condition, you said it only has one scratch, so it is basically in very good condition for being an iPod Nano 4G. Though I would probably sell it this month, before September 8th, because when the Nano 6G comes out, it will be 2 generations old, so the resale value will go down. My advice is to sell it for at least about $60, I don't know if your selling it on eBay or Craigslist but you could probably get more on eBay. Perhaps $65-$70? It all depends on what it comes with.

I'd include all of the stuff(USB cable, earbuds, quick manual...) that came with the iPod in the packaging since I have better earbuds... I also have extended warranty by Best Buy but I'd have to find where the receipt is...

Okay, thats good, if you have everything it ups the resale value. If you find the receipt with the warranty, You should fetch around $60-$70, I would try on craigslist for a week, then if it doesn't sell put it on eBay.

Oh...I faced the same problem as you, I also owned a blue 8G one, and want buy iPod Touch4 too...what should I do? I don't want own both 2 iPods at the same time...

I sold a blue 4th gen 16gb model on Amazon for $99 just days before the Sept. announcement, if that gives you anything to go by. It was pretty much like-new, no scratches or anything, with original package, unused headphones, and cable, and I threw in the case we got for it as well.
