Hi,

If I buy a book, CD, DVD etc. I can sell it again if I want to.

In theory, the same could be possible if I buy an iBook, some music and movies in iTunes. I can understand why Apple doesn't have the feature to sell items bought in their store, but is it actually legal? Shouldn't I have the same rights with digital copies as I do with psychical copies?

Apple has no control over this. You are not buying the content since it is owned by the license/copyright holder (again, nothing to do with Apple). Physical copies (books, CD, etc.) can't be controlled by the copyright holder so it is implied that the license is transferred with the container (books, CD, etc.). However digital content can be controlled and there is no 'container' for you to sell and transfer. So it will never happen.
