Selling my beloved dual 2.5GHz G5... How much?

I will be selling my trusty dual 2.5GHz G5 soon... Wondering what would be a good price for it. Yes, I did check Ebay, but noone seems to have recently sold a G5 with quite the specs mine has:

2x2.5GHz G5
4GB RAM (8x512)
74GB 10000 RPM boot disk
250GB 7200 RPM storage disk
Radeon 9600XT with 128MB VRAM (plays Doom 3 and runs Aperture just fine)
Bluetooth
Single Gigabit ethernet port
ViewSonic VP201B 20.1' monitor (1600x1200)
Apple keyboard and new Mighty Mouse
All the usual stuff (Firewire 800 and 400, USB2 ports, etc)

To be honest, I am somewhat ambivalent about selling it at all (it is a great computer, Apple has not released anything significantly better ever since, and when they do, it will be Intel and won't run certain important apps natively for a while). Unfortunately, it has to go for financial and space reasons.
So, what would be a good price for this machine (with or without monitor)?
It is probably going on Ebay today...
 
Do you have any idea how much you would want for the monitor if you were to sell them separately? Alternatively, if you decided to hold on to the computer, would you have any interest in trading for two 17" monitors or one monitor + cash?

$400 or thereabout?
I probably won't hold to the computer, though, because I have decided to make my new MacBook Pro my main (and only) computer. Hoping for seeing Universal Photoshop soon...
Thus, I will only be interested in simply selling the monitor.

i doubt the mods would ban you if they found your thread to be a FS before you're "allowed" to - more likely either delete or lock the thread.

nice system though! i'm going to be on the prowl for a G5 after the Mac Pro's come out - (not good for you), but the prices are going to droooop.

I was thinking something closer to $2500 (with the monitor)... How does it sound? Too expensive? Too cheap?
 
If I were you, I wouldn't sell the whole lot at once. For example, the Power Mac with 1GB of RAM sans Raptor would be one, the Raptor would be two, the display would be three, etc, etc. Someone may be looking for a Power Mac but had no need for 4GB of RAM. Or maybe they do but they don't need a display. You will likely make more this way if you are willing to have 6 auctions instead of 1.

Yeah, I might be interested in picking up the monitor at around the $400 you said. I'll have to see if I can come up with the cash, though. (If I can come up with it before you go to eBay with it, would you want to make the sale here or see what happens?)

PM me and we could possibly cut a deal, even if I do list the G5.
I have another one of those monitors (I was running the G5 with 2 of them). I wanted to try to run it with my MacBook Pro, but it looks like the built-in display would suffice - I would rather upgrade the memory to 2GB and keep $100 in process...

This G5 originally came with 1GB.
However, I was runnng a molecular modeling program on it, and it was actually wiring up more than 3GB of memory at the same time, and with 1GB the machine was swapping like crazy.
It is really nice to have 4GB - and I already miss it on my 1GB MacBook Pro...

That may be true, or maybe not...
But I really don't want to part out this machine - it is just too nice.
Or maybe I am too sentimental...
