Yea it sucks really bad.. but i need money for college which is more important to me..

i have restored to factory settings and i erased all data and content twice on my iphone .. is there anything else i need to do?

and is it safe to ship to UK.. i am going to be selling it on ebay and i was wondering if its safe to sell to UK..and if so what do i need to make sure not to get ripped off ..i am hoping to get 600 for it

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A400 Safari/528.16)

That should be all that you'd need to do. It will probably be ok to ship put of the country. Just make sure that you pass the fees over to the buyer.

Thank you for the fast response .. you mean like have them pay for the shipping out of the country

Yes, but also any tax/duty that would be charged when the phone arrives in the UK.
With regards to the erasing of data, yes, all you need to do is a restore, but i f were selling my iPhone, i would have done a DFU restore ... just for my satisfaction

Hope that helps.

What is a DFU restore?
Putting the phone into restore mode by:

1. Turn the phone off
2. Hold down the Power button for 3 seconds
3. Keep holding the power button and also hold down the home button for 10 secs.
4. Let go of the Power button and keep holding down the home button until iTunes recognizes an iPhone in restore mode (should be about 10 seconds... can take up to 30 though).
