Selling my Iphone problem

I already posted this in another premade thread, but it got lost in the other posts, so i thought id ask it again

I kind of have a problem... I have been without my iPhone 3g for about 4 months now... and the reason for this is because it stopped syncing/charging, I was told it was because of water damage, by the genius, but dont ever remember getting it wet, anyways thats besides the point. Is there anyway I can reset my phone if it doesnt turn on (would hate people getting a hold of my info someway), and how much will it sell for (is it even worth selling now)?

My phone still worked perfectly when it was charged, but there is no way I can charge it.

i dont think so since it wont turn on, and personally i would not buy it

Many people would buy damaged iPhones and try to repair them or for parts etc.
You should get some money for it. Not much u can do about restoring it since it won't turn on.
