Just wondering everyone’s thoughts on selling the X before the new phones come out? It seems it’s getting close to time to get rid of it if I would like to get top dollar for it. What is the latest y’all would wait before we see the prices starting to drop? I have a paid for X on T- Mobile 64gb. I am seeing these on EBay in excellent shape bringing 750 and better. Is this realistic? just looking for some opinions. I have a SE I will have to use until the new phones are available.

I've been watching 256GB on eBay go for 700s - 900s this past week. I would think you would get lower for 64GB imo but who knows? People who dont browse apple specific forums probably aren't aware that new phones are around the corner and could probably save money if they waited another few weeks
Not directly related to what you’re asking, but massive mistake selling on eBay this time of year. If you want to top dollar for your iPhone, look at Swappa. This is the time of year where fraud is at the highest for the iPhone because users are starting to prepare selling their current iPhones in hopes of upgrading to the latest iPhone in the next few weeks or so, and *Many* iPhone are owners are taken advantage of by those with ill-intent.
so glad i did that a few weeks ago and didn't lose much money as i thought i would. The window to sell at a reasonable price is quickly closing. Certainly as of September 12th, the price will drop substantially.
Same here, I sold my 256 X close to 2 weeks ago for 870.00, so it makes me seem like I made decent cash.
I would disagree with that. Game stop doesn’t base their trade-ins based on market value, they determine based on condition, storage and what model iPhone it is. They’re entirely different for what they offer in price, where as the seller could make more money selling on a site like Swappa versus trading in.
Seems like on swappa it’s about 720-770 for an iPhone X 64gig.

sold my iPhone X a week ago (€700 -- 64 Gb)
Using my old 6S, with the latest iOS 12 beta. I can tell for sure, iOS 12 gives the 6S a complete new life.
iOS 12 lets my 6S almost fly. Its super solid and makes my 6S really fast again.
Waiting for the Keynote next month and than plan what to do/buy.
Just sold my 256GB carrier-unlocked (AT&T) Space Gray X on Swappa a week or so ago for $800. I used the proceeds to pay off my Verizon iPhone 8 Plus (RED) 64GB. I'm ready for the new one.
