Just got computer back from applecare. They wiped the drive but I did make a backup of the entourage database file and everything before I sent it out. It was an entourage X database file aprov 780MB. So when i get the computer back about a month later I decided to buy Office 2004 since I can't find my Office X disks. Problem, I can't import the Entourage X Database file and when I copy it into the correct directory in the MAIN IDENTITY folder and startup Entourage it says it can't read my database file and that I need to rebuild it. Upon rebuilding it turns into an 18MB file that had nothing in it. Is there any way that I can import this database file into my new Entourage 2004 user? Thanks for any help in advance.

hmm perhaps you could draw uninstalling entourage and removing all the files then place you old db in the correct directory. Perhaps when you reinstall it, 2004 entourage will detect the old database and import that it would if you were installing over an old entourage...
