I’ve noticed in iOS 18 beta 3 the option to Send Later for text has been limited to only 2 weeks out. Anyone else seeing this?

I think 2 weeks limit is reasonable. If you need to schedule a message 2+ weeks ahead then you need to be better organised.

I've been using it and I'm setting messages to send ~3-4 days away.

What’s the actual real world situation where sending a message needs to be delayed? I actually can’t think of one myself in my own life.

On 15PM Public Beta and I can send later whatever time I want. Even a minute later.

On my iPad Dev Beta, I also always had the option to send whatever time I wanted since Beta 1.

Only seems to work iMessage to iMessage. Doesn't work on RCS, I wonder if it ever will.

I just used it today to remind my daughter to move her car for alternate side parking. She always forgets, so I set the it to message her 15 minutes before the time.

Also B-days is a good reason.

I think people were envisioning themselves drafting happy birthday messages months or a year in advance lol.

Use shortcuts for longer or repeatable messages 😎

Like automation checking every day at 9:00 via much of if-statements if current day and month is equal to birthday day of someone we would like to threat with an message (for me automated best wishes is soulless but it’s me).
