iPhone Send/Receive ios or SMS on a PC

I was wondering if there was an app or program that would allow me to send or receive ios text or sms messages on my (non-Mac) PC?

I tried Pushbullet but that didn't really work, as texts from my family didn't come through.

I'm on a PowerPC Mac, so I took the additional step of using Fluid to create an app for this so I can run it outside the browser.

Just looking at the app description in Cydia it looks like they route messages through their own server. Do you know if this is the case? I'll probably contact the developer directly to get more info, but if this community knows specifics then I'm good with that.

i believe it's routed through your home network because the address you type in the browser is a local IP address
