Has anyone figured out a way to reply to Yahoo mail using your "real" email address? I'm using the Yahoo push service by way of forwarding mail there (after it goes through GMail's spam filter :) ), but when I click Reply, I want the mail to be sent from my real email account (neither a Google nor Yahoo address)

I have another account sent up on the iPhone for that address and can successfully send mail from it. It is the "Default" account in Mail preferences. But when replying to Yahoo mail, it still sends it as my yahoo account, not my default account.

I found a page somewhere earlier suggesting you could go into Yahoo's web preferences and set your reply-to to your real email address, so I did that, but it doesn't seem to affect mail sent from the iPhone, it still shows up as from <blah>@yahoo.com with no reply-to.

So, anyone found a way to do this? I've also tried setting up a plain IMAP account using imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com, which is what the iPhone seems to use for Yahoo accounts, but I can't get that to work either.

This is not possible yet.

I even activated a Yahoo Plus plan to set my default outgoing email to address to something other than xxx@yahoo.com but it appears that this feature does not work when sending mail through the iPhone.

The only way this would be possible if there is a software update that would allow us to add a FROM: field or alternate email address.
