Send SMS from computer?

I'm sure I looked into this a while ago, but is there any software which will connect to my iPhone and allow me to type and text SMSs as Nokia Suite used to for my N95? Ideally for PC but I'd try Mac software if there is any!

You can send and receive SMS through iChat. In iChat, "File > Send SMS...". The person on the receiving end has the option to receive and reply. You'll see the reply in iChat, and it'll work the same as a normal IM chat.

You wouldn't need the iPhone, unless you're talking about tethering to get an internet connection.

I've actually found something even more exciting.... remote control my iPhone from my PC (or Mac)! It works brilliantly on my 3GS and its all free!
